Hunter Amenities Achieves EcoVadis Gold: A Milestone in Our Global Sustainability Journey
Strengthening ESG leadership through responsible manufacturing, quality assurance, and trusted partnerships.
At Hunter Amenities, sustainability has long been woven into who we are — not as an initiative, but as a core commitment to responsible manufacturing, ethical business practices, and positive global impact. Today, we’re honored to announce that this commitment has been recognized with the EcoVadis Gold Medal, placing Hunter Amenities among the top 5% of companies worldwide assessed in the past year.
This recognition reflects years of sustained progress across our global value chain — progress detailed in our 2024 ESG Report and powered by the passion of our teams across 10+ countries.
Why EcoVadis Gold Matters
EcoVadis evaluates companies across four pillars that are central to modern business excellence:
- Environment
- Labor & Human Rights
- Ethics
- Sustainable Procurement
Achieving Gold signals that Hunter’s sustainability management system is not only robust but continuously improving — from climate action investments to employee wellbeing, responsible sourcing, and ethical governance.
For our partners, this milestone reinforces quality, accountability, and trust — key differentiators in today’s sustainability‑driven marketplace.

Our latest EcoVadis assessment shows meaningful gains across multiple pillars — a testament to the discipline behind our ESG strategy:
Overall performance: ~16% improvement year over year, advancing our position from roughly the top 10% to the top ~5% of companies assessed globally.
- Labour & Human Rights: ~35% lift, reflecting stronger policies, training, and people‑centred practices recognised in the latest review
- Ethics: ~17% improvement, supported by enhanced policies and controls across information security, whistleblowing, and responsible conduct.
- Environment: ~6% improvement, with additional credit for measures like energy efficiency upgrades, water risk assessments, and renewable energy purchasing/generation.
We also expanded external commitments and certifications recognised by EcoVadis — including SBTi (Committed) alongside ISO 14001 (environment) and ISO 45001 (health & safety) at our Shantou facility — building on our earlier UN Global Compact endorsement.

Our Progress Has Been Years in the Making
Our journey to achieving EcoVadis Gold has been many years in the making — a result of sustained investment, careful refinement, and deep organizational dedication. Over time, we have strengthened our process controls, elevated our standards for responsible manufacturing, and introduced policies that support fairness, wellbeing, and opportunity throughout our global workforce.
We’ve made health and safety a top priority across every manufacturing site, expanded communication and training programs, and embedded sustainable purchasing practices that reflect our values and our customers’ expectations. Just as importantly, we’ve implemented locally relevant initiatives in the communities where we operate — ensuring our global presence is matched with meaningful local impact.
This cumulative effort has shaped the foundation that EcoVadis recognized with Gold, reflecting a sustainability management system that is both rigorous and continually maturing.
