Mother Earth Essentials

Mother Earth Essentials was founded by Carrie Armstrong who comes from a long line of Cree Medicine Women. She started to form the idea for a bath & beauty line business during her first teaching job at Amiskwaciy Academy, where she used traditional plants to connect the students to their history.

Mother Earth Essentials was founded in order to share the nature-inspired teachings rooted in the plants of the Medicine Wheel. We’ve interpreted our offering based on the teachings of our founder, Carrie Armstrong and elder Francis Whiskeyjack (Cree, Saddlelake FN).

Since the beginning, Carrie has been passionate about sharing her Indigenous culture and the spiritual properties handed down to her.

RECONNECT WITH MOTHER EARTH

Our culture and our spirituality lead us to believe that by reaching a place of true balance and a deep level of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual self awareness, we will find a sense of the inner peace many of us yearn for. The Medicine Wheel is symbolic of the circle of life where there is no beginning and no end. Some areas of focus include:

Four Plants: Tobacco, Sage, Cedar, Sweetgrass

AMENITY COLLECTION

The Mother Earth Essentials amenity collection blends complementary herbs, essential oils and scents such as mint, lavender or balsam to complement traditional Indigenous plants of Sweetgrass, Tobacco, Cedar and Sage that are used in many of the Mother Earth Essentials products.
